Where to find “old school” swim trunks? (short, not tight)?
Question by º} º} ™ {º {º: Where to find “old school” swim trunks? (short, not tight)?
I’m trying to fnd a swimsuit more like briefs than boxers or kneecap-length shorts.
Long-legged swim trunks. They are heavy and if I do the breaststroke, they cling to my legs, making it awkward to pull my legs up.
For sure I don’t want Speedos–they suck into the skin and basically turn my privates on display. I really don’t want the virtual “out there” look! So…no bikinis, but maybe brief style or a tiny bit longer. I don’t want something that inhibits my leg motion. American swimsuits in the 70′s and 80′s were commonly the type I’m looking for.
I mostly just swim laps.
It’s possible that the type of material is important. I’m not sure how the various materials relate to my preferences.

Try a square cut suit or maybe running shorts, they whave always worked well for me. Not a fan of big long wet boardshorts at all.
